Samwise Garrison is in his second year of Clark College’s AFA program with a focus in painting. He is an illustrator from Vancouver, WA. In addition to illustration he has also dabbled in painting, poetry, photography, and sculpture. In 2024 he wrote and illustrated a short comic for Clark’s student comics anthology The Iceberg based on Mary Shelly’s Frankenstein. Currently he is working on the development of a slice of life comic about a twenty-something burnout working at a record shop. He likes working with stories that have a focus on character development and the relationships between characters.
